End of Life Pet Care

A difficult decision.

Our team of veterinary professionals is comprised of compassionate animal lovers who are also pet parents, and we sincerely understand the gravity of saying goodbye to a beloved pet.

We're committed to providing you with empathetic, professional support that will guide you through the decisions associated with end-of-life care. We want you to feel well-informed and supported as you advocate for your pet. If you need support surrounding end-of-life care, please call our office to discuss scheduling a quality-of-life exam.

During our quality of life exams, we evaluate your pet's condition and collaborate with you to determine next steps for your loved one. In cases where palliative care measures are appropriate, we're able to offer a variety of supportive care services to keep your pet comfortable. These services include treatments such as pain management, nutritional support, including dietary recommendations and appetite stimulants, as well as cognitive dysfunction counseling. We follow your pet's progress closely throughout hospice care and are there to offer our professional guidance in determining when it's the right time to say goodbye.

When it comes time to say goodbye, we offer euthanasia services here at our hospital, as well as in-home euthanasia services, as our schedule allows. We facilitate aftercare services through Final Gift, a trusted third-party company, through which you are able to receive your pet's remains should you wish. For those who do not wish to receive remains, group cremation services are available.

We are here to support you and your pet through end-of-life care. Please call our office with any questions
